NASA's Robotic Hillary, A Mountain-climbing Robot - Gizmo Watch
NASA's Robotic Hillary, A Mountain-climbing Robot - Gizmo Watch: "It’s coming of age in robotic science, and next from NASA’s backyard is another all terrain robotic rover, but if it’s from NASA, we can expect novelty there. Yes, Axel (as they call the lately built and tested a robot), developed in California Institute of Technology is an autonomous robotic rover stuffed with wireless computing sensors in a cylindrical body which maneuvers over all terrains, from steepy climbs to rocky mountains and deepest caters, where man wouldn’t reach safely."
