While it is not known why a wooden case was chosen, it could be because the wood is a bad conductor of electricity and could protect you against short circuits and accidental electrocutions. Wood also has an aesthetic quality about it that aluminum can’t replace. The environment activists may not find the Wood Computer to be a great idea, but, for a change, it certainly attracts attention."
