SID '08 Witnesses Amazing Displays By Samsung, Includes 82-inch With 120Hz - Gizmo Watch: "If you think owning a home theater or a PC with a giant LCD provides you something to boast off, I’m afraid, coz I’m forced to differ to the conceit. Thanks to Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. for standing in my half - Samsung has released new LCD Displays at Society for Information Display (SID) International Symposium, Seminar, and Exhibition. The really enormous 82-inch LCD has ultra-definition resolution i.e. 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, and a 120Hz refresh rate. Don’t you worry about blurring images coz you get 120 frames per second at 60Hz. I can bet over anything, for you wouldn’t have heard of an “e-board” having a 60Hz UD LCD panel with in built UD resolution? Even more exciting is a multi-view digital information display (DID) that sends 3D images with no need of special glasses. And that isn’t it; Samsung also made public a 40-inch full-HD LCD TV panel, and a 15-inch LCD with “blue phase mode”. I apologize for I couldn’t read the price tags. Anyways, the features would certainly support the cost incurred by the manufacturer, and at the same time, wouldn’t burden your pocket that much, in all hopes. :-)"
