Zon Hearing Aid Concept Thrives For Industry Leadership - Gizmo Watch

Zon Hearing Aid Concept Thrives For Industry Leadership - Gizmo Watch: "There are a few who understand technology and even lesser know something of design. Starkey’s designed ‘zon hearing aid’ is a result of a defined approach from the seekers who know them both. What’s cooking in the design clinic isn’t known before it is out, but competitions that honor designs deserve credit for revealing the unknown. Stuart Karten’s design of the hearing aid bagged the people’s design award at the National Design Awards, and that is where it came known from. Zon hearing aid is one perfect device within too – housing the latest and most innovative technologies, from BluWaveTM signal processing to best feedback interceptors to a Directional Speech Detectors, making the audibility near perfect in all circumstances."

World's Biggest Subwoofer From MTX Generates 180 Decibels - Gizmo Watch

World's Biggest Subwoofer From MTX Generates 180 Decibels - Gizmo Watch: "The human eardrum cannot handle sound above 140 decibels. Well, that’s just a statutory warning, because what you’re going to learn about here is potentially a dangerous indulgence. A 5-foot-long sub-woofer isn’t something you come across every day. In fact, as American sound experts MTX say, this sub-woofer is the largest ever built. Apparently, a jet engine doles out sound levels much less than this monster, which also stakes the claim as the loudest at 180db. We aren’t sure what MTX is trying to tell us here, but we know for a fact that this product has created a lot of “noise” already.
